Reyna Ramirez is a Dallas-based visual artist and curator born in Jalisco, Mexico. She holds a BFA in Painting with a minor in Art History from UTA. Her artistic practice explores themes of cultural identity, memory, and place through painting, mixed media, and curation. Her work draws from personal narratives and collective histories to invite reflection and dialogue. It emphasizes the importance of cultural preservation and visibility for Latinx and immigrant communities. She has exhibited widely throughout the DFW area and previously served as Gallery Director at Cima Arts, where she contributed to inclusive, community-centered programming. She was an artist-in-residence with Cedars Union as part of Cohort 4. Since 2022, she has worked as a studio assistant to various artists, contributing to numerous large-scale works and projects while managing and coordinating assistants and studio operations. This experience continues to inform her technical approach and professional development as an emerging artist.
