The gallery is accepting proposals for solo or collective exhibitions. All mediums are welcome, including but not limited to visual, installation, and performance art. Submissions must be sent through the open call portal. Applications by hand/mail/email/etc and incomplete applications will not be considered. There is no fee to apply, and the deadline is 11:59 PM CST on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
Proposals will be reviewed by Erin Cluley Gallery staff. The selection process will take place during November 2026 and applicants will be notified on or by December 1, 2026. Please do not inquire on the status of the selection process – all applicants will be notified of their results by the aforementioned date.
Application Materials Overview
- 5 - 10 samples of your work along with title and description (year, media, dimensions). Accepted formats include jpeg, jpg, png, pdf, mp3, and mp4.
- Artist information (name, website or instagram (optional), and location in Texas)
- Artist Statement (max 500 words)
- Bio (max 500 words)
- CV (optional, but encouraged)
- Exhibition Proposal (optional - pdf)
- Confirmation of eligibility
Recipient to Receive:
• Honorarium: $500 for exhibiton support.
• Mentorship: One-on-one guidance to develop your artistic practice and learn more about contemporary art gallery practices.
• Exhibition Opportunity: Your work will be the subject of a solo exhibition at Erin Cluley Gallery during their 2026 exhibition season.
