Madelyn Sneed-Grays is a representational painter born in Dallas, TX. In 2014, she received her BFA Cum Laude in Studio Art from the University of North Texas. She was a 2016 Hunting Art Prize finalist, has been exhibited twice in the New Texas Talent, and received an Honorable Mention award for the Annual National Juried Exhibition at the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art.

Her work was recently added to the permanent collection of the LSU Museum of Fine Art through the Winifred and Kevin P. Reilly Initiative for Underrepresented Artists and has been published in magazines such as Poets Artists and Friend of the Artist. Sneed-Grays hopes that her work encourages the exploration of different cultures and brings awareness to the humanity and beauty of the black community.
